On Sunday we went to an annual carnival that our church holds for the community called Funday Sunday. A lot of fun was had by all. The weather was perfect, the rides were fun and the social family was time was wonderful! I only managed to get one picture of Rowan going headfirst down the slide. The other ones of Holland are her enjoying her newest found joy-pretty girl beads!

Here are some random pictures from the past few days. We've been spending a lot of time outside, which is a blessing to us all. The children get worn out and take good naps and the parents get some much needed fresh air. This is the perfect time of year when the pollen count has downgraded and there isn't much humidity!!! We enjoy it because it doesn't last for long. The sunscreen has already come out and won't go away again until probably October-as you can imagine we go through A LOT!

I just might...

1)be sick and tired of being sick and tired - and my children, too
2)hire a professional to make me excellent coffee every morning (no offense honey)
3)be on the lookout for some new church clothes
4)be the only mom who drives around in her minivan listening to Michael Jackson's Greatest Hits
5)go into a rage the next time someone says they'll do something and they don't
6)turn off my cell phone at 8:00 tonight
7)do all my ironing before we need something to wear
8)NOT be the only person who hates the word M-O-I-S-T
9)take my children to the park every single day this summer to ensure a good nap for all
10)start taking more pictures of our life
11)miss my husband soooooooooooooooooooo much this week

Happy belated Easter to all! Easter was a great day here in Columbia-a little on the cool side. We had to scrap the original Easter outfits and go with a more modest look. Unfortunately for all of you, we have no pictures. In the mad rush to get out the door to church on time we just didn't have time. I thought we could get them after church and before lunch, but by the time I was ready to get my camera out, Rowan had already stripped out of his "church clothes". Take it from me that they were THE best looking kids at church. :) I will try to do a mock Easter picture if I can get the other parties to cooperate. Both children received nice treats from the Easter bunny and Rowan was able to participate in an egg hunt at his friend Drew's house, which is also where we ate lunch. Ellen and I braved through making fried chicken for the first time, which was complimented with ham, green beans, asparagus, potato casserole, strawberries, chocolate chip pie, and coconut cake. It was delicious and nice to spend the time with friends. Rowan, Drew, Holland, and Mary Des were good sports about waiting on the mommies for lunch and kept John and Tom busy running after them and keeping them away from the hot oven. Thanks Parkers for hosting!
