Happy 1st Birthday Holland!

We had a fun little party for our sweetie, including cupcakes and ice cream. She did great with her cake and had a lot of fun digging in to her strawberry delight.

The weather has been really nice and we've been enjoying some time outside. Holland got a new "car" for her birthday. She's perfectly great at pushing it backwards, can get on and off all by herself, and loves to push it through the grass.

Some wild animal got into my mums...oh wait, that's MY wild animal!

Halloween Party!

We had a fantastic time at our 1st annual Halloween party. Unfortunately for you, I was so busy hosting that I didn't have time to take many pictures. To be honest, the costumes didn't last long for my children. Rowan was so excited about everything going on, he didn't want to slow down to put on his Bob The Builder costume. We eventually got him in it. Holland was so hot and sweaty in her duck costume (it was 75 degrees), that we felt awful making her stay in it for very long. We had lots of great food, about 30 adult friends and 25 kid friends, door prizes, costume contest (winners included Elvis and a scarecrow & crow combination), games for the kids, and the hit of the evening--real tractor hayrides around the neighborhood!!! We all had a great time and look forward to doing it every year.
