The Abundant Life-of the Barnes Family

Okay, sorry for all the confusion! I think this one will really stick. I wasn't feeling that good about using the other site/blog and was already having trouble blocking strange and unwanted items. Seeing as this is for our family and friends who care about us as a family, I wanted to make it as "conservative" as possible.
So, we are doing well and enjoying the HOT summer month of July. Much of our day is spent outside playing in the sandbox, blowing bubbles, or filling up the pool to splash around in. Rowan discovered his birthday present in my closet today much to John's dismay. I was trying to distract him from it, but he saw it anyway and went ballistic when I told him it wasn't time to open it yet. We decided to call daddy to see what he said--and it was soon opened. He has been playing with his new backhoe and bulldozer ever since with only a break to eat lunch.
As the children nap, I have work to do. One of my listings is having some major termite inspection troubles and I have some challenges ahead of me before we close on Aug. 8. I am seeing how much the business world is driven by selfish motives. It's not that I was naive to this, but rather took the approach of ignorant bliss. I value those I work with who always do the best and right thing. They really stand out to me and I want to be one who stands out to others for being honest and hard-working, but mostly approachable with the challenges that we face in the real estate business. I want my children to know that when I'm away from them, I act with the same values I preach to them. They are, after all, my BIGGEST priority!!!
