The Beach

For those of you who have been waiting...here they are! The sad news that our camera broke deterred us from putting pics up from our wonderful trip to Nags Head, NC where we spent a week with the Barnes and Harrell clans. We had a fantastic time playing in the sand, eating seafood, catching some much needed sunshine, playing games, laughing, golfing (the guys that is), and a little shopping.

Most of our days went in the same order: wake up-breakfast-grease up-load up-trek it down to the beach-set up the tent (the LATE tent)-play-swim-eat-play-swim-play-trek it back to the house-rinse off-eat lunch-play-nap-more beach for Jen-snack-grease up-pool play-bath-eat dinner-bed-games-bed. Throw in 2 rounds of golf for John, one shopping trip for Jen, amd that sums up our activity for the week. Surprising to you all, I'm sure, I was utterly exhausted by the time we got back to Columbia. It was all worth it, though, for a great week of anticipated family/friend time at my favorite place in the entire world-the beach!!!
